Lee is a passionate, dedicated and highly experienced Education and Care professional with substantial experience and an understanding of strategic and operational business practices, service provisions, Education and Care legislation, Regulation and NQS;
• A transformational leader with a strong belief in participatory leadership practices that support the growth and transformation of emerging leaders and professionals in the sector;
• A professional with the rare ability to determine context of a business within wider economic and social environment and thereafter develop businesses with strong, collaborative workforces and sustainable Education and Care programs that are able to achieve excellence in Early Childhood Education and Care; and

Lee is holds a Masters in Training and Development, Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood Education and Care a Diploma in Children's Services (Centre Based Care) and draws on many years of lived experiences in a range of roles across the Education and Care profession.
Lee has 30 years experience working in the profession across numerous roles, starting as a parent helper, taking a position as an unqualified assistant Educator. From there with further study Lee went on to the Early Childhood Teacher role, other roles include Director, Approved Provider, validator (reviewer), consultant, trainer and assessor in the EC field. Lee learn't from the ground up how quality programs for children look, feel and operate. Through her roles as an Approved provider and Authorised Supervisor Lee has an in depth understanding of the day to day processes in the operations of an Education and Care service. She guided her own service through several Assessment and Rating processes to consistently deliver high quality outcomes for children and education and care practitioners. Lee worked both as a peer and staff validator for the National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC) undertaking Assessment and Ratings nationally under the Quality Improvement and Accreditation system (QIAS).
As a consultant for the Professional Support Coordinator (PSC) in Queensland, Lee worked with Professional Support Networks across the state to identify and prioritise regional professional development needs for the full breadth of Education and Care settings. She has facilitated the delivery of hundreds of professional development and support events including but not limited to the Celebrating Educators annual conference in Springfield and Ipswich and the Sustainability in Action - An Outback Bus Tour. Lee has presented at numerous conferences including Gowrie QLD and ECTA. She has worked with ACECQA and the QLD and WA regulatory authorities to develop the ACECQA, Agency of the Child national workshop.
Lee guides services identified as working toward the NQS to identify and support real progress toward meeting the NQS. She has undertaken reviews for services against the National Quality Standard in preparation for Assessment and Rating and provides advice and support to services on all aspects of their operations.
Lee understands, recognises and values the critical work and expertise of the Education and Care professional. Lee wants to support Education and Care practitioners to realise their potential, connect with and reclaim their internal passion, unite and speak up for our profession to grow a sustainable Education and Care Workforce that is valued, supported and well equipped to educate and nurture children's Belonging Being and Becoming
